Genesis: Where It All Began

Our Fall Semester is getting underway with the study of the Book Of Genesis. Spending the first several weeks (or however long it takes!) in a review of what we had accomplished in our Fall study last year, we shall resume our in-depth, slow reading of Genesis with Chapter 8, in which Noah and company disembark from the Ark.

We welcome several new students to our classes this year, and encourage anyone who might be interested to come out and join us. No previous knowledge of the Bible is necessary, and due to the nature of the course, you need not worry that you have missed too much -- we are doing a thorough review and will gladly bring you 'up to speed!'

We offer an in-depth, text-oriented study of the Bible, in which the deep principles and meaning of the narrative. as well as the structure of the text are highlighted. Our aim is to empower our classes with the knowledge necessary to read the Bible deeply and independently, to recognize the many levels of meaning contained in Scripture, and to apply these universal truths to their lives.

In addition to our Study component, each class session includes Fellowship, Prayer and Praise (a.k.a. good conversation, intercessions and lots of singing!). We welcome all, regardless of denominational affiliation (or lack thereof!). All that is necessary is to be a Seeker and to have a desire to learn and to have some fun!

When: MORNING SESSION: Fridays 10:15-11:30 (although this day and time are subject to change, depending on participant consensus) EVENING SESSION: Wednesday Evenings at 7:30 p.m. (doors open at roughly 7 p.m.)

Where: ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH HALL at the corner of King and Queen Streets. Church Hall entrance is on the Queen Street side, directly opposite the Scottish Rite. We meet in the "Fireside Room."

For more information or specific questions, please contact Vicki or Ed via this website.

Blessings!
